Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a combination of sitting and standing positions.
