Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Can Roots Carrier Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Load and unload goods
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
