Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Mechanic to join our team at CANUCK TOWING & SERVICES LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding job. The ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and odorous environment is required.
