Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team at CANUCK TOWING & SERVICES LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components to restore vehicles to their original condition
  • File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired to achieve a smooth finish
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting to ensure a flawless finish
  • Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers to restore the vehicle's original shape
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a showroom finish
  • Mix paint, blend and match colors to ensure a perfect match
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to restore the vehicle's structural integrity
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
