Job Summary

At CANUCK TOWING & SERVICES LTD., we are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance of our fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining your workspace.
  • Repair and Replace Components: Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components as needed.
  • Surface Preparation: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, and mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Painting and Finishing: Apply primers and repaint surfaces, mix paint, blend, and match colors.
  • Frame and Mechanical Repair: Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, and repair or replace mechanical units or components.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Body Repair Technician at CANUCK TOWING & SERVICES LTD., you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a dusty and noisy environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
