Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team at Canus Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers and other team members.
  • Prepare and review reports on production and other key performance indicators.
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Requisition and manage materials, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.

Working Conditions:

  • 5-10 people in the team.
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language required.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
