Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 0978194 BC LTD o/a Milestones Grill and Bar. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Train and develop our team members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure seamless meal preparation.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
  • Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize our operations.
  • Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Setting:
  • Food service establishment.
  • Restaurant.
  • Fine dining establishment.
Supervision:
  • 5-10 people.
  • Cook (general).
  • Food and beverage servers.
  • Food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Kitchen and food service helpers.
