Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc.

Job Summary:

The Shipper-Receiver will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, materials, and equipment within our warehouse and to external locations. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Transportation: Coordinate the scheduling of transportation conveyances to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure accurate and compliant shipping.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and verifying incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial lift trucks, fork-lifts, and other equipment to move goods and materials within the warehouse.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify goods against invoices and other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in database software, spreadsheet, and other relevant computer applications.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience operating industrial lift trucks, fork-lifts, and other equipment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, withstanding physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.

The Shipper-Receiver will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The work hours are 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as required.
