We are seeking an exceptional Product Consultant to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group in Langley. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences and contributing to the company's continued growth.

Job Description

As a Product Consultant, your primary objective will be to provide exceptional customer service by determining each prospective client's vehicle needs through effective communication and listening skills. You will promote new business and contribute to the company's customer base by seeking new customers through prospecting and referral networks.

You will sell new and pre-owned vehicles, demonstrate vehicles (including test drives), and ensure customers understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork. Additionally, you will introduce customers to Service Department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations.

You will set goals for each month's productivity, plan and organize how to reach those objectives, and follow all dealership processes and procedures to ensure an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index rating on sales, delivery, and follow-up.

You will attend department meetings as required and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information while maintaining a great deal of professionalism.
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills (internet & MS Office), with the ability to maintain records using a computerized system.
  • Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • A Current VSA MDC License.
  • A valid British Columbia Driver's License with a good driving record.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will enjoy comprehensive extended health and dental plans, recognition and engagement events, and opportunities for internal and external training and development.
