Job Summary:
The Part-Time Assistant Equipment Manager, Hockey is a key role in the Equipment Operations team at Brock University. This position supports the Equipment Manager in the day-to-day operations of the hockey equipment room, ensuring the smooth execution of game-day operations and maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism in the equipment room and changerooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Equipment Manager in the maintenance and upkeep of hockey equipment, including uniforms, gear, and supplies.
- Coordinate equipment transportation and delivery for game-day operations.
- Ensure the equipment room and changerooms are kept in a professional and organized state, with all necessary supplies and equipment readily available.
- Assist with equipment coordination, including skate sharpening and maintenance.
- Attend home and away games to support the Equipment Manager and ensure a smooth game-day experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Equipment Manager.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
