About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Hand to join our team at Hall Shoring & Foundations. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Foreman with craft personnel and construction equipment management, making decisions on production daily.
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of equipment operators, laborers, subcontractors, services, and manually complete activities when necessary.
  • Provide training and mentorship to ensure safety and develop skills related to the job function.
  • Protect employees, contractors, clients, the public, and environment from potential incidents.
  • Ensure the company safety program and all Government Acts and Regulations are followed and complied with by all personnel on site.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Foundation Piling / Drilling / CFA.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Grade 12 with diploma.
  • Valid Drivers License, SiteReadyBC, Ground Disturbance Lv.2, First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform.
  • Able to travel to BC and Saskatchewan, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Construction experience related to Foundation Piling construction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding and interpretation of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of rigging and hoisting, load securement, and trailers.
  • Knowledge of ground disturbance, trenching/excavation, and underground/overhead utilities.
