Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
- Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
