Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Cap-it Burnaby. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily store operations, plan and organize daily tasks, and manage staff to ensure efficient and effective store performance.
  • Merchandise Procurement: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that our store offerings meet the needs of our customers.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth, and plan budgets to monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, and determine staffing requirements to meet the needs of the store.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of retail management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
