Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with crane experience to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Troubleshoot: Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs.
  • Maintain Communication: Maintain regular communication with the service office and assigned coordinator, in accordance with established practices.
  • Complete Service Reports: Complete service reports and other required documents in a professional, accurate, neat, and legible manner, and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Safety: Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.
Requirements
  • Red Seal Journeyman Electrician: Must hold a Red Seal journeyman electrician certification, local to the Fort McMurray area.
  • Crane Experience: Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing cranes.
  • Availability: Must be available on call for service and breakdowns.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel up to 2 hours outside the city, complete overnight stays if required.
  • Customer Service: Must have great customer service skills and compliance to safety regulations.
