Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for leading the testing practice from planning to execution, ensuring that testing is planned and executed throughout the development life cycle of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing practice from planning to execution, ensuring that testing is planned and executed throughout the development life cycle of our products.
  • Develop, drive, and deliver high-level test methodologies, strategies, and take a firsthand approach to see that they are executed timely and efficiently.
  • Design, write, and execute automated test cases with a focus on new features, regression, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing is integrated into the development process.
  • Identify and prioritize testing efforts to ensure that critical business requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that testing is thorough and efficient.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.

Requirements

  • 4 years of test manual experience
  • 2 years of automation testing experience
  • 3 years of working as a QA in a SAAS company
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Contribute towards the QA Automation roadmap to enable continuous improvements.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into manual and automated test cases.
  • Implement and evolve QA processes to get effective test coverage.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment while following all the Scrum/Kanban ceremonies.
  • Experience working with Test Automation Frameworks such as Jester, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and research new technologies.

Working Conditions

This is a remote opportunity with CB Canada.
