Quality Assurance Lead

A leading SaaS company in the IoT space is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to join their remote team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs;
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality software releases;
  • Design and implement automated test cases to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts;
  • Lead the testing practice from planning to execution, ensuring seamless integration with development and deployment processes;
  • Contribute to the development of high-level test methodologies and strategies to drive continuous improvement;
  • Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, ensuring timely and efficient resolution;
  • Develop and maintain software documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information;
  • Prioritize and manage multiple demands for several software projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results;
  • Escalate complex problems to senior roles as required, maintaining ownership of tasks on behalf of the customer;

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing;
  • 2+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong understanding of test frameworks and tools;
  • 3+ years of experience working as a QA in a SaaS company, with a strong understanding of Agile development methodologies;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field;
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices, with a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Ability to translate business requirements into manual and automated test cases, with a focus on clear and concise communication;
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, following Scrum/Kanban ceremonies;
  • Experience working with Test Automation Frameworks such as Jester, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Eager to learn and research new technologies, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices;
