About the Opportunity

Rocky View Schools is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to fill on-call, casual positions as Caretaker I for the school year. As a Caretaker I, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Keep assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
  • Conduct building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
  • Certifications from cleaning organizations are considered an asset
  • Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
