Rocky View Schools is seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to fill on-call, casual positions as Caretaker I for the school year in the Airdrie Area.
As a Caretaker I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including routine cleaning, attention to detail, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, are able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
- Keep assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
- Perform building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
- Certifications from cleaning organizations are considered an asset
- Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
