Job Title: Registered Nurse - Mental Health Mobile Crisis Intervention Team

St. Michael's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mental Health Mobile Crisis Intervention Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide holistic, evidence-based care to individuals in crisis, working collaboratively with police services and community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt community-based mental health crisis assessment, intervention, and referral to appropriate hospital or community services.
  • Collaborate with hospital and community resources to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in outreach and liaison with community partners, key stakeholders, and identified significant others.

Requirements:

  • Current General Class (Practising) Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in an acute mental health setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a community mental health setting preferred.
