The Kinderplace Childcare Centre is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Program Leader to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for school-age children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that promote learning and development in a group setting.
- Provide guidance and support to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of our children and families.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, illnesses, and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Child and Early Years Act.
Requirements
- Standard First Aid with Level C – infant/child CPR.
- Completed Health Assessment.
- Vulnerable sector screen that has been completed within the last 6 months.
- Up-to-date Immunization record with T.B. skin test.
Working Conditions
- Part-time, fixed-term contract.
- 15-35 hours per week.
- Day shift.
Compensation
- $19.61-$20.87 per hour.
Location
- In-person at Kinderplace Childcare Centre.
