Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Lead to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our team, ensuring that all site staff adhere to our policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all site staff are trained and compliant with Paladin Security policies and Eastern Health Occupational Health and Safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with Eastern Health site Management and ensure that all security officers have received the necessary training and orientation
  • Supervise security officers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Document and investigate security incidents and complaints, and ensure that all proper documentation is forwarded in a timely manner
  • Perform daily paperwork, including advanced reports, sign-in sheets, and overtime authorization
  • Assist with departmental site scheduling and ensure that all shifts are covered
  • Perform site patrols and respond to all necessary codes and calls
  • Assist with conducting regular fire drills and security education sessions
Requirements
  • Previous managerial/supervisory experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous security experience
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Code of Conduct
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
