Retail Store Manager

Pioneer Gas is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth running of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales workers, apprentices, and design team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers: Effectively allocate sales workers to duties, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed and that customers receive a high level of service.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and authorize payments by cheque, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Order Merchandise: Source and purchase merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are of high quality.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately covered and that the store is open for business.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, selling merchandise and promoting products to customers.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve Issues: Effectively resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring that the store remains operational and that customers are satisfied.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure that they are able to perform their roles effectively.

- Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, ensuring that the store is maintained and that customers receive a high level of service.
- Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Physically bend, crouch, and kneel, ensuring that the store is maintained and that customers are satisfied.
- Accurate: Maintain a high level of accuracy, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service, focusing on the needs of customers and ensuring that they receive a high level of service.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
