Job Title: Server

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Server to join our Food and Beverage team at Richmond Country Club. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in our on-site restaurant and patio environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with every interaction
  • Employ a strong understanding of food and beverage menu offerings, making recommendations to enhance the dining experience
  • Assist colleagues throughout service, including opening and closing duties, and supporting the flow of service
  • Serve and clear food and beverage, maintaining consistency in service standards
  • Understand event orders and familiarize yourself with event set up and service in accordance with event standards
  • Ensure standards for cleanliness and presentation are met for all set ups and food and beverage service
  • Set up the floor, maintaining floor layout, including arrangement of tables, linen, chairs, place setting, buffets, and any other guest requirements as needed
  • Develop a familiarity with Jonas Point of Sales Software
  • Work collaboratively with the back of house culinary staff and front of house staff, particularly during events, meetings, and banquets
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of serving experience
  • Knowledge of proper service etiquette, with club experience being an asset
  • Preferrable environment: experience in high-volume restaurant or F&B establishment
  • Banquets and events experience is preferred
  • Flexibility to meet work shift demands, including holidays and weekends, is essential
  • An upbeat and positive attitude
  • Enjoy working with a team
  • Possess high organizational skills, with an attention to detail
  • Fantastic work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure
