About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dish Preparation Specialist to join our team at DQ Grill & Chill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to ensure quality and presentation.
  • Cook dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances while maintaining food safety and handling protocols.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong initiative, judgement, and organizational skills to manage kitchen operations effectively.
  • Fluency in English language to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods may be required.
  • Frequent interaction with kitchen staff, management, and customers.
Estimated Salary

Our estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and opportunities for career advancement.
