Job DescriptionThis position involves working in various locations, including willing to relocate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying wallpaper and other materials to walls.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and sanding them.
- Mix paint to the desired color and texture.
- Apply wallpaper and other materials to walls.
- Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience in painting or a related field.
- Ability to work at heights and handle heavy equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and estimate costs and materials accurately.
