We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Associate to join our team at the University of British Columbia, Faculty Relations. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for overseeing laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage laboratory and clinical research activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and university policies.
- Provide expert advice to senior managers and officials on research-related matters.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data management, reporting, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement research protocols, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to advance research objectives.
- Conduct literature reviews, analyze data, and prepare research papers, educational texts, and articles.
- Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and symposia, showcasing research findings and expertise.
- Monitor and compile research results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Offer mentoring and guidance to junior researchers and students.
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Immunology, Microbiology, or related discipline).
- 3-5 years of experience in clinical research, with a focus on immunology and microbiology.
- Proven track record of research excellence, with publications and presentations in reputable journals and conferences.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
