We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Food Scientist to lead our innovation and product development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, plan, and carry out assigned process and/or product development projects.
  • Conduct research and development activities to create new food products or improve existing ones.
  • Conduct product trials, run development samples, and create initial product specifications.
  • Participate in product sensory trials using internal and external panels.
  • Apply corporate R&D policies and procedures.
  • Identify new technologies of relevance for the organization.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to reduce costs or optimize the performance of our products and processes.
  • Act as a technical resource to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure liaison and collaboration with raw manufacturing plants to resolve issues and/or complaints.
  • Help analyze information to support the development of new products.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in coordination with Regulatory.

Requirements:

  • A.Sc. in Food Science, Food engineering or a related Science discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in R&D or product development for a food manufacturer, preferably in dairy food.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours when required.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
