About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at Wibble Wobble Childcare Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support educators in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children.
  • Engage children in activities that foster learning and development, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems.
Certifications and Training
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Requirements
