Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Wibble Wobble Childcare Ltd. The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs for children
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

  • Child care centre setting
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
