About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Driver to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company trucks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that products are delivered to the correct location and that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping documents and customer signatures.
  • Participate in pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues to management.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure that products are properly stored and secured.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
  • Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
