About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Local Delivery Driver to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company trucks to deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Load and unload products from trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
- Interact with customers to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate with the warehouse team to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform pre-trip inspections on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge related to delivery and logistics.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
