Hospital Maintenance Assistant

The Hospital Maintenance Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital facilities. This includes cleaning, mopping, and dusting all areas, as well as performing floor care tasks such as scrubbing and waxing floors. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for shampooing carpets and chairs, removing waste, and performing chemical spill cleanups. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience, as well as effective communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants with cleaning and floor care experience. Hours and Compensation
This is a casual relief position with a competitive hourly rate of $19.26 - $20.02. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
