Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Associate Architect, the Architectural Technologist works as a member of a collaborative team based in Montreal, primarily focusing on residential and commercial projects. The technologist may also contribute to projects in other sectors, including institutional, industrial, educational, and more.

Key tasks include:

* Assembling and structuring plan sets
* Construction detailing
* Site supervision, if interested

Additional skills considered assets include:

* Analyzing shop drawings
* Coordinating with other disciplines
* Preparing an architectural estimate

Qualifications

* College Diploma (DEC) in Architecture
* 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
* Knowledge of materials
* Familiarity with building codes and regulations
* Strong technical knowledge
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Photoshop
* Experience in high-rise projects
* Familiarity with Revit software

Skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive attitude and excellent customer service
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
