Financial Examiner with Expertise in Financial Planning

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Financial Examiner to join our team at CANADA ROYAL ACCOUNTING SERVICES INC. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for analyzing clients' financial records and providing expert advice on financial planning and examination.
About the Role
- This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload and tight deadlines.
- Our ideal candidate has 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role and is proficient in accounting software, such as ACCPAC, Simply Accounting, and QuickBooks.
- You will also have expertise in database software, MS Excel, and MS Windows, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
- The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Analyze clients' financial records to identify areas for improvement and develop financial plans to achieve their goals.
- Supervise staff and train them on financial planning and examination procedures.
- Provide expert advice on financial planning and examination to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare financial information and reports for individuals, departments, or companies.
- Develop financial plans for clients, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Examine accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate with corporations and government to determine the type and terms of new securities issues.
- Act as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings and provide financial advice to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software, such as ACCPAC, Simply Accounting, and QuickBooks.
- Expertise in database software, MS Excel, and MS Windows.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
