Job Title: Retail Store Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at Canco 160 Ladysmith. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
- Establish work schedules and ensure efficient store operations
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Work Environment:
- Retail business
- Willing to relocate
- On-site customer service
