Bureau Veritas Laboratories is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Ste-Foy, QC.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide general laboratory support, including washing glassware, archiving samples, weighing, and homogenizing.
  • Perform simple sample preparation and manipulation procedures prior to analyses.
  • Ensure cross-contamination between samples and other materials does not occur.
  • Use summary reports to plan and organize work.
  • Meet deadlines and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure accuracy and quality of work.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately follow SOP's and instructions.

Working Conditions:

  • Day/evening/weekend work schedule.
  • Availability for overtime (1-2h per day) from May to December (high season).
  • Full-time, 37.5h/week status.
