Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team at the Overhead Door Co of Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in sales, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

About the Job:

This role will be responsible for promoting and selling overhead door solutions to existing and potential clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs of installing equipment and provide quotes to clients;
  • Prepare sales or other contracts and ensure timely delivery;
  • Promote sales to existing clients through regular follow-ups and presentations;
  • Identify and solicit potential clients through networking and lead generation activities;
  • Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services;
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service;
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs;
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and resolve any issues that may arise;
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the industrial supplies industry;
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
