Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Dispatch operations, ensuring seamless logistics and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement staffing and recruiting strategies to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager and Unit Managers to address Dispatch issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling complaints and inquiries with professionalism and poise.
  • Drive change management initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability.
  • Prepare and analyze reports as required, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of Dispatch operations, with experience in a unionized environment an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with experience in Ship Trakk, Comlog, and Salesforce an asset.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Location: National Hub Ontario

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm

Working Conditions: Office Environment; Warehouse Environment
