About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gas Station Manager to join our team at 2728380 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our convenience store and gas bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct market research and trends analysis to determine consumer demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in point of sale systems and electronic mail.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willing to travel and able to use public transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Adaptability, collaborative, efficient, goal-oriented, integrity, quick learner, time management, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, organized, team player, ability to multitask.
