Job Title: District Vice President, Commercial Banking
Department Overview:
TD Commercial Banking operates under the Business Banking umbrella with approximately 1200 employees in 50 Commercial Centres and over 70 points of presence across Canada. Within the Commercial Centres, our relationship management teams provide customized comprehensive solutions for business clients.
In this role, you will be expected to role model TD's leadership profile by making an impact, building for the future, inspiring the will to win, working effectively in teams, living transparency, showing excellent judgment, and demonstrating unwavering integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and execute a business plan aligned with Commercial Banking strategy.
- Lead and coach the team in the successful execution of the Commercial Sales Methodology.
- Lead continued growth of new business with both new and existing customers.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with our internal business partners.
- Manage and balance the Unit's resources to maximize productivity/control expenses.
- Coordinate general sales activities in the Unit.
- Establish and oversee procedures to ensure appropriate monitoring and control procedures are administered within approved guidelines.
- Lead the Unit's CEI improvement strategies and activities.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control.
- Actively promote the image of both TDBFG and Commercial Banking within the community.
- Demonstrated relationship building skills.
- Strong financial management skills.
- Expertise in Commercial Credit, Risk Management.
- Fluently bilingual in English and French.
Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business would be an asset.
- Prior experience in Commercial Banking and Commercial Credit Risk Management is required.
