CIMA+ is Seeking a Human Resources Business Partner

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to support our growth objectives. As an integral member of our dynamic HR team, you will provide coaching to our leaders and management team, as well as support for employees in the Ontario region with all files related to the HR function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Coaching and Support: Act as a trusted advisor and coach for our management team, providing guidance on human resources management, including employee engagement and retention, managing performance and performance gaps, compensation management, communication, training and development, talent acquisition, and internal processes and policies.
  • Business Relationship Development: Develop strong relationships with both managers and employees to maximize trust, engagement, and retention.
  • Risk Management and Opportunities: Identify risks and opportunities for improvement related to human resources management, supporting managers to deal with them responsibly and strategically.
  • Client Group Support: Understand the issues and challenges of assigned client groups and work closely with the HR team to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Change Agent: Act as an agent of change within a context of rapid growth, aligned with CIMA+'s values and organizational culture.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a HR Generalist or Business Partner role.
  • Strong understanding of Ontario employment laws.
  • Demonstrated business partnership skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong capacity for autonomy, leadership, and influencing through excellent judgment.
  • Demonstrated team spirit and collaboration.
  • Coaching and communication skills.
  • Able to develop the practice through creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment.
