About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at Ideal Siding. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Determine the most efficient installation procedures and layouts for various siding projects.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for accurate installations, ensuring a precise fit and finish.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary work materials and supplies, including hand and power tools.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, with attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
  • Clean the work area, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, kneeling as needed.

Language and Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work environment is outdoors, with exposure to heights, noise, and dust. The work setting is construction-based, with various locations and residential projects.
