About the Role
The Breakfast Cook is a key member of our culinary team at Dexterra Group, responsible for delivering a high-quality breakfast experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast for guests, adhering to menu standards and quality expectations.
- Develop and implement menus that meet client requirements and dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring proper equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and complete necessary logs and records.
- Supervise and support nightshift team members in their duties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in preparing and cooking hot breakfast for large groups.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High standards for cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Valid Food Safe Certification is an asset.
- Double vaccination for Covid-19 and ability to pass drug and alcohol testing are required.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting, standing, and repetitive hand work.
