Caretaking and Maintenance Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a caretaker and maintenance specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including schools and other buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery
  • Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains
  • Ensure the safe and efficient use of cleaning products and materials
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve common goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to work at heights
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning products and procedures

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to adapt to new situations and challenges.
