Chief Operating Officer

Thiara Construction and Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's strategic direction and ensuring the successful execution of our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments, and establish objectives for the organization.
- Policy and Program Development: Formulate or approve policies and programs, and represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
- Human Resources: Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority to them, and create optimum working conditions.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Indigenous People: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations.
- Visible Minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
Work Details: Work Term: Permanent, Work Language: English, Hours: 30 hours per week.
