Job Summary

The CAHRD Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to facilitate the Building Operations Technician Program. This program is designed to develop and manage the day-to-day operations and management of the Building Operations Technician Program.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Develop curriculum and instructional materials, and evaluate student progress.
  • Deliver lesson plans, assess student work, and maintain standards of quality operating methods.
  • Coordinate subject matter instruction and guest lectures with industry partners.
  • Determine individual student learning needs and supports.
  • Evaluate and assess student progress and discuss results with students and program management.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education and/or relevant training and experience.
  • Industry experience and a valid Manitoba driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven ability and experience in relating to and working with the Indigenous community.
  • Ability to work effectively with participants, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Strong project management skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
