Researcher in AI Infrastructure

Our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Researcher to explore and develop state-of-the-art networking technologies and protocols for our global AI infrastructure, cloud, and data-center networks.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy innovative networking technologies and protocols to enhance product competitiveness.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify business problems and core challenges, and orchestrate research and technologies across the research and business scene.
  • Maintain effective communication with professionals in academia and industry to ensure Huawei's value is delivered.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical fields.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
  • 3+ years of academic or professional experience in research, engineering, or technical innovation.
  • Expertise in AI infrastructure, HPC, or data-center networking technologies, including RDMA, network protocol stack optimization, collective communication scheduling, traffic engineering/routing, congestion control, topology design, and resource allocation.
  • Experience in networking, data network architectures, software architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated influence on networking technologies in academia or industry.
