Senior Researcher in AI Infrastructure

At Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research efforts to explore and develop innovative AI infrastructure solutions for Huawei's global AI infrastructure, cloud, and data-center networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and core challenges, and develop technical roadmaps to address them.
  • Build and maintain relationships with professionals in academia and industry to ensure Huawei's value is delivered.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in research, engineering, or technical innovation.
  • 3+ years of team leading experience in research or technical innovation.
  • Expertise in AI infrastructure, HPC, or datacenter networking technologies, including RDMA, network protocol stack optimization, collective communication scheduling, traffic engineering/routing, congestion control, topology design, and resource allocation.
  • Experience in networking, data network architectures, software architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated strong influence on networking technologies in academia or industry contexts.
