Director of Home and Community Care Operations

VON Canada (Ontario) seeks a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of Home and Community Care Operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality home care services to clients in need. About the Role
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will lead a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our clients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and client outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
Directly supervise and mentor a team of front-line staff to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality care
Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and VON's standards of practice
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop business cases and proposals to secure funding for new programs and services
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, including healthcare providers, social services agencies, and government organizations
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and research findings to inform your decision-making and strategic planning
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
Proven track record of success in improving operational efficiency, productivity, and client outcomes
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think critically and strategically
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
