Care Director Leader for Complex Care

Eden Gardens, a leading non-profit health care provider in Nanaimo, BC, is seeking an experienced health care leader to join our team as the Care Director Leader for Complex Care. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to live and work on beautiful Vancouver Island.
The successful candidate will enjoy a substantial compensation package including extended health benefits, dental care, disability insurance, and municipal pension plan. In addition to a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes access to our Employee and Family Assistance Program.
About the RoleThis leadership position plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents at Eden Gardens. The Care Director Leader for Complex Care coordinates and supervises the care team, ensuring resident-focused care is achieved in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and supervising direct resident care delivered by RNs, LPNs, and Health Care Aides
- Developing and implementing care plans to meet individual resident needs
- Maintaining accurate records and reports related to resident care

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Graduation from a recognized program for Registered Nurses or Registered Psychiatric Nurses
- Demonstrated leadership ability in complex care with comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external agencies
